Affinity Eyewear incorporates two hypoallergenic materials in their manufacture, bio-acetate and titanium.
Bio-acetate is made using certified bio-degradable plasticisers from 100% renewable sources, but with no loss of quality in the end product. This means that, apart from the intrinsic sustainable qualities of the material and their stunning good looks, glasses made with bio-acetate can withstand more, are less likely to break, last longer and so won’t need repairing or replacing as much.
Titanium is one of the most durable materials available. It’s as strong as steel but much less dense, so you need less of it when making frames. That makes it lightweight, flexible and very comfortable to wear. It’s also corrosion-resistant, recyclable, biocompatible and non-toxic.
